The Cinque Terre is a rugged landscape along the coastline on the Italian Riviera. Five villages dot the coast, which include from north to south: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. Paths, trains and boats connect the villages. The coastline, villages and surrounding hillsides make up Cinque Terre National Park and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
