Eleuthera is one of the outer islands of the Bahamas, 50 miles east of Nassau. The island is very long and narrow, extending 110 miles from north to south and 2 miles wide. The terrain is varied, ranging from wide, rolling pink sand beaches to caves, cliffs and limestone rock outcroppings.
